This article shows the power of Java's OO idea. Apache group builds helpful objects and we can use them or inherit them easily. Cool!

The functionality of Search Engine is very important for website or web application development. Is there any similar object in PHP or Perl?

Atomz search
jlhiowa 11th Dec 2003
If you don't have a very big site you can get a free search tool from atomz.com. It's pretty easy to use because all you have to do is add a few lines of their code, kind of like a counter. It's also customizeable and you also get statistics on what words were searched for. Lucene sounds neat but since I've just got a small website atomz is a better fit.

I would appreciate if you could tell
how to Index html files ?I know I need HTML Parser class to convert html to text content but How do I mention the directory path / subdirectories containing html files to perform the search in them.
Any help is appreciated
