Product review: Advantage Plex 5.1 from Computer Associates

Excelent review! It even improves the scope that CA's current marketing material is presenting (almost totally focused on e-business systems development with Plex).

It is important to emphazise that with Plex it is possible to cover the entire life cycle of mission-critical systems: from analysis, to design, implementation, maintenance, etc.

Other important features are: model management capabilities that allow multi-developer environments, generation of Help Systems based on information for the model's objects, tool's capabilities to encapsulate Platform dependant code, and a robust methodology that allows flexibily for developers to use either Plex shipped class library objects, third party patterns, or creation of their own to develop their systems while enforcing a development paradigm in which all objects included in the model can interact with one another.
