I've seen numerous MS "Critical Patches" trash an entire OS after installing. That's part of the reason every one is tested prior to rolling them out in business. The Fedora is more a "Hobby" version of Linux and I for one do not consider it as anything more than Red Hats attempt to trial their latest developments on the general public before they incorporate them into their very expensive production products.
