It's nice to see. It's funny, y'know: this entire laptop, software and all, costs less than the equivalent software alone would cost if bought from Microsoft.
In fact, Microsoft Office's retail price, last I checked, is $1.99 more than the cost of this entire laptop, with OS and (better) office suite included and pre-installed. Now there is a deal!
The major downside, of course, is that it uses Linspire as the Linux distribution. Then again, for converting people from Windows to Linux, I suppose it would be difficult to get something more familiar to Windows users than Linspire among the available Linux distros.
All in all, this looks like a really good deal for cheapo customers that have never used Linux before.
