I have been known to moan a lot at my office whenever there is a need to work unsociable hours or the boss is just plain wrong, so I kind of felt like I was the type of person being addressed by the article. I hate being a naysayer but I feel it that comes from loving my work and having well formed opinions about how things should be done. Whatever work ethic I do have, belongs to my career as a whole and not to any single employer. I couldn't agree more about the need for a life outside a particular job - without a bit of perspective, you'd bust a blood vessel half the time.
Having said all that, more power to the author fro challenging my preconceptions and making me think.
