A little background first - we use Exchange 2000 (I know it's ancient, but we have no money to replace it yet). Because of Exchange 2000 16GB Information Store limit, we encourage users to put their 'old' emails into a PST.
We have a user who used to use Outlook 2000 - this was upgraded to Outlook 2007 fairly recently. Her PST was created under Outlook 2000 and is limited to 2GB - however, Outlook 2007 will no longer open it saying it's too big and to remove some emails from the PST.
As Outlook cannot open the PST, we don't know how to get emails out of it. I know you can increase the size of Outlook 2007 PSTs in the Registry, but I think with this one being from Outlook 2000 that will not work.
The user is our VP, so has important emails in this PST - Any ideas?
