cant open my computer,control panel, my docs, or any other folder

iam facing a problem with my system... when ever i restart or shut down my system it showing configuring updates... it's taking a long time to start my computer , it itself shutting down and restarting.......... and now if i open an folder or my computer or control panel its not showing any data it's loading and i cant close the window even.. i can open only browsers in my system... what should i do know please suggest me anyone. and iam using windows7 OS..
