MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003 iNSTALLATION ERROR AND .PST recovery

I have a problem with office 2003. without taking the BackUp of pst file and uninstalling 2003 i installed outlook 2007 and the office files got corrupted. so i installed office 210 which worked but it could not restore the outlook sub folders mails. so i restored OS to an earlier date. Now the problem is that every time i open an application it shows windows installer installing. All i want is to install office 2003 which gives error saying the installer patch is corrupt or missing. deleted the update patches removed keys from registry but still i cannot install microsoft office. Please help
