Hello,
I've used Lookout for years, at home and at office as well. I'm very happy with it.
I had to stop using it in the office in the period between MS bought the company, and it released MSN Desktop search. From the acquisition moment and on, the Lookout page has been filtered in our company. I can imagine this was because of the risk of IP troubles.
Enjoy desktop search !

But I used Lookout for Outlook first, a few years ago, and have not looked at the others. This is an excellent tool and I love it to find emails.

Leave it to Microsoft to gobble up an efficient little company and turn its pride and joy product into bloatware. I use Lookout and will continue to use Lookout until my company directs me to use a version of Outlook that no longer supports Lookout (which I'm willing to bet anyone will happen). God, they pee me off so much sometimes.

It's a great alternative:

Or you can persuade your local Exchange Admin to enable Full-text Indexing on the Exchange server. It works great with the built-in Advanced Find.

I tried GetMail from www.searchterrain.com . It is uncomplicated and fast.
