Unless you are a big corporate with and IT budget that could by a small country then forget it!

This is a waste of money, if you have recently purchased Office 2003 with SA then I suggest trying to get a refund. When is the next major release of Office going to be? (after 2007) Will it arrive on time and within your SA period? and even if it does you have probably paid for it twice over by the time it does.

Microsoft advised me that if I wanted Office 2007 then I should buy Office 2003 now with SA.

Take my advice, if you really want 2007 but you're not ready to roll it out then buy 2007 anyway and use your downgrade rights and install 2003 until you are ready.

SA just doesn't stack, the other benefits of SA are mere token gestures from Microsoft which is why most resellers don't push them.
