you could try Sonicwall but after all the licensing and software stuff they charge you for, you'll end up spending the same for a Cisco 800 series SOHO router.

Symantec has a Gateway 320 appliance but again it's priced about the same as a fully licensed Sonicwall[meaning software update license, Global access and VPN client licenses] and Cisco 800.

Most consumer level routers support PPTP and L2TP passthrough.

What you get depends on how many users will require remote access. Are they running applications, and security policies.
I have a client who needs a vpn solution. He can?t afford CISCO. Any suggestions on a product and why?
