Given your needs and resources, which of these models makes the most sense for your organization? What type of architecture do you currently have in place?
We made a decision a while back and revisit frequently to go with the HP line of switches. Assuming a normal switching infrastructure and basic routing HP will give you the same thing for less than half the cost with free upgrades and replacement for life. Based on the pictures for the last option I have not been able to find a Cisco 3750 for less than $10K without the GBICs.
Best of luck,

Cicso's marketing department has done a great job of creating a mystique surrounding their products. I believe that they make create enterprise products. (Let's not talk about their Linksys division.) But Cisco is not the only supplier of great enterprise grade products. However, they are very good at marketing. They make you think that you need their products in order to build a first class data center. Of course that is not true. As you say, other vendors make some great products.
I'm just saying that when you make great products AND you have a great marketing department then you can persuade a lot of people to pay more for your products even though your competitors also make great products.

1. Is that a routable layer 3 switch?
2. Does that have a 32 gigabit switching fabric that connects up to around 9 switches?
3. Are all 9 switches managed as one?
4. Does the $10K HP solution have 6 switches with 4 gigabit SFP slots per switch?
I seriously doubt that HP offers all of this for $10K. I'd be happy to do a cost comparison on a true apples to apples basis.
