MANDATORY 50 years without the possibility of parole for first offenders. Lock 'em up, and throw away the key, I say.
Do that to enough of these guys, and all of a sudden it won't be looked upon as "cool", "cute", or "smart" to hack your way into EVERYONE else's cyber-life.
