IPPBX Service and design
miguel@... Updated - 12th Feb 2007
The main idea about IP-PBX is to lower costs, thus using open source solution as Asterisk is the best way. But we have to be very cautios who we choose to implement it, or what company we contract with to do the otsourcing; I have seen many good concepts trashed out just for bad infraestructure, poor support and a very lazy design. Open source is always better to enhance existing services over propietary systems as the ones named here.
Another provider is http://www.ntouch.ca/pbx.html
I've never used their voip, but I have one of their dedicated servers though.
I think most companies can benefit from a hosted VoIP PBX system. While very large companies (10s of 1,000s of employees) may want to consider an IP-PBX, it is really a smart move to go with a regular hosted PBX if you are a medium sized company. We've had good success with the FreedomIQ hosted VoIP PBX, but there are many solutions out there. The most important thing to remember is dont buy on price alone, because you may end up with a inexpensive service, but you're call quality and feature list will be very poor. You need to have a phone service which allows you to hear people on there other end, otherwise, what is the point!

Hosted PBX VOIP
nikkiwalt Updated - 23rd Mar 2011
Yes, Hosted PBX VOIP systems can do wonders for your business image. We have been employing the services of The Real PBX for many years now. Hosted PBX Systems offer a huge number of features. These may include Unified Communication, Auto Attendant, Call waiting, Call Conferencing, IVR, Call Hunt, Do Not Disturb, Call Forwarding and more. It is no doubt highly cost effective as compared to the premise based PBX system.
You can also get a free trial and decide for yourself if the service is actually good or not. How Hosted PBX VOIP can benefit your business is a huge topic. I hope this link will help you in getting some of those reasons.
