I'll admit lots of nice polish and snazz, but I don't see any truly new features. Win 7 is the first and only version of Windows so far to ship without an e-mail client. No DreamScene, or Windows Calendar and Remote Desktop is missing from Windows 7 Home Premium. It's a good OS, but it is expensive.
