I've been looking for this program for quite a while. I was first introduced to it on the old Tech TV but lost my copy. First rate program. Should be in every hard core web surfer's tool box.

Hi,
I have some backups of my Browser's bookmarks. They are from different computers. Does anyone know of a utility or program that merges bookmarks together in any way shape or form?

Thanks,
Bob

There's a natty piece of shareware at:

http://www.magnusbrading.com/bmc

It merges, sorts and converts between different browser formats.

Not for commercial use. I've been using it at home for a couple of years now.

Works for me...

I get this message for every one of my IE 6 favorites. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution or recommendation?

Try entering you Proxy or DNS address in Options/Settings. Until I did this I had 5 good external links out of 356 bookmarks.

Thanks for the reply. I finally determined that my firewall software was blocking the Deadlink application from accessing the internet.

Great Little Program
MeYou&Them Updated - 8th Jun 2007
This program is a great thing to have especially if you bookmark many Internet sites. It allows you to check for duplicates, dead links, and also back up your bookmarks into a dated zip file.

I have 967 links to check.
Sent it off with a setting of 25 connections and after about 350 checks it started reporting links as 'checking...' and never returning a real answer.
Even when it had finished it left them marked as 'checking...'

Worked great when it worked.
