Actually, I asked if you worked for Cisco because in my experience they are condescending, self-righteous snobs with a 'my way or the highway' mentality. I do not believe 'telling it like it is' is rude, I just think your way is. It seems combative - as if you are daring the reader to disagree with you.

There are enough tech resources on the web I can consult for help and guidance that I don't need it from someone who 'refuses to diplomatic'. And for the record, while you believe these myths need to be put to sleep, there are many, many others out there who disagree with you and have points that are just as valid.
