Who are "they"? If it's your underlings, you shouldn't let them feel underappreciated.
If you're like me, you may find it easier to tout your area's successes if you frame it as someone else's success.
"I'd like to congratulate the architecture group for..."
"Thanks, but the real praise goes to Jack who had the idea for the new system."
Mr. L's newsletter idea is a good one too. Also, if your company has an intranet, they're often looking for news/material/highlights to post.
