No thought given to pricing "across the water"
I'd have been happier had the concept been addressed further than "The Treaty of Rome" being in existence.

Microsoft and Bill G. in particular have always shied away from answering the burgeoning question as to why they seem to have their own Exchange Rate Mechanism for the pricing of M$ goods in the UK, and across the EU in general.

I have still to hear of a believable reason why we pay in pounds sterling, the same units as Americans pay in dollars. The bold Mr Gates insists the exchange rate is nothing to do with him - but never addresses the UK pricing structure imposed by Microsoft themselves.

No monopoly?
