I actually bought a copy of *GASP* Word 1.0 which ran on a dual-floppy system by the way. Can you imagine running Windows on a system with NO hard drive? In fact, it didn't even have 3.5" drives--nope, it was a dual 5.25" floppy system. You could only run one app at a time and the only programs you could run were the programs that came with Windows because there weren't any others.
And, of course, the system did not have multiple mega-bytes or giga-bytes of RAM. It had the paltry sum of 256k of RAM and it was a "top of the line" system for its time.
On the other hand, it gave me something to do with my mouse which didn't have support from too many other programs at the time.
