Flash based storage seems to provide cheap solution to mobile storage independent of computer hardware drive bay. I think effort must be encouraged to increase durabilty and capacity of flash drives. They are becoming increasingly relevant to common users and even to the expert users. Not only to transfer data here and there, but to also serve as long-time personal mobile storage media.
