Are you advocating a paradigm shift towards complete Web Application infrastructure?
No thank you! The mere thought of placing complete business processes at the mercy of the Web is not only idealistic but horrifying.
Web Apps have their place - and that is the whole point: there is 'a time and place' for their successful deployment in the enterprise modelling process - as far as IS infrastructural planning is concerned.
But sincerely, it would be *sanguin* to believe they are the "be-all-and-end-all" of the future IS business model.
The security issues alone should be enough to set off the alarm bells - let alone other implementation issues!
Thanks, but no thanks.
