You did a nice job of putting into words a lot of what I used to look for in a resume.
It's sort of spread throughout your article, but I used to like to see. "At the end of the resume, leave me with the impression that you think this is a fun business to be in". I've yet to meet a good programmer who thought that it was an 8 to 5 "job" that you punched in in the morning and punched out at night.
