Nice post! I got similar advice in a
resume-writing workshop a long while back.
However, at least here in Israel, hirers
want the tired old hack and maybe even are
interested in hiring one. I get very few
interviews.

BTW: I keep dates off (because of EEO
issues-age discrimination is quasi-legal
here!) unless asked for them and I send
the other version.
