CTO vs Enterprise Architect, I think both roles are identical. Is it just interchangable titles? Enterprise Architect role got a lot of efforts to be as clear as it's todaty espicially from open group and microsoft.
In this (good) article it seems that CTO is only an IT function, but I think it covers all bussines technology where IT meets other electric and mechanics disciplines, asking an overall technical knowledge and skills. CIO is more IT orientated.
