are supposed to explain what they are used for, when to use them, and when you are using them incorrectly. Also, the tools should be able to tell you what other tool to go buy for an application for which you haven't one. A hammer should warn you, "That's an NIC, not a shim, and you really shouldn't use it to fit that new window into the frame." Right?
