Those nice little auto-downloads/upgrades help also to keep your computer running, also let me advise you to do a security check on your P.C.(s) I have a bad feeling that you will find quite a bit of spy/adware on your system. Also nowadays they have what are known as drive-by trojans that can do MORE than just disrupt your computing.
