I do a lot more of symbol finding that anything else. But I am also extraordinarily strict about my naming conventions, and can typically do a "sight unseen" find/replace across an entire project with no errors caused and 100% effectiveness. I recognize that I am not "most people", of course. Regex is mucch better reserved for "find" operations than "find/replace", for safety's sake.
