CompTIA recently polled IT pros and asked them that question and then published the results in a top 10 list, as I reported in my original post:
http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/hiner/?p=557

What do you think about this list? What would your top 10 look like?
Well, the key concept is "influential", not inventive or creative, etc.

There is no doubt the Bill Gates along with his vision of a computer on everyone's desk, belongs right where he is!

It was Steve Jobs vision - Computer on every desktop as well as That people would interact thru icons not text!
because, he was the senior of Bill Gates in Apple and MS DOS has come from Steve's MC OS.... also, Jobs has got the MD's position after so long but in past, his jelous collegues had make him out of Apple and he joined PIXAR and meanwhile Apple was loosing its profits so the Apple team had requested Jobs to be their MD and Jobs accepted it with only 1$ salary for the year........

so, he's the best like phoenix bird who can born after it burns to ashes

so no doubt, Jobs is the most influenital personality and he should be at first position int the list
