I'd like to bring up another quite interesting feature about qooxdoo. Maybe you've heared of the Eclipse Rich Ajax Platform. This project will give you the possibility to create Ajax Web-applications with java. You can use almost any known class provided by the SWT stack. At the first glance it looks like GWT, allthough it does not come with a cross compiler but it dynamically renders your java classes into javascript, which is in this case the qooxdoo framework!
