If you can actually run this stuff without a thousand man-hours and it prevents 10 destructive influences from spreading through a large network, you have saved money.
I think there is an interesting company in the Netherlands which has a very flexible and scalable solution. www.quarantainenet.nl. Instead of configuring all clients, you only need to configure your network, switches, routers.

I didn't see any reference to Symantec's Endpoint protection which also offers NAC for small to mid-sized businesses.
It is my experience on these boards that the readers do not like Symantec. It has worked well for us but maybe we are just lucky!!
