Web applications certainly have their appeal, with most costing far less than the ubiquitous MS Office suite, and some are even being given away for free. Premium services exist but there are definitely problems, ranging from security issues to offline access to files. Do you see any web apps that are mature enough to use in your business?

There are a number of successful businesses who are ahead of the curve when it comes to delivering dependable and secure software as a service.
Just pay attention to the quality of the product and the dependability of the vendor/supplier.
If you have a good SLA and the vendor can meet your demands, then why not use web apps?
