I have been working with Microsoft System Center Essentials and have found that it is much more than a WSUS. The ability to add management packs to enable support for management of vPro clients and provides remote power control.
The reporting feature alone can save hours of manual hardware and software inventoring.
I have not found any other software that can provide a single console that I can use to manage my entire network, servers, clients, software and operating systems.

Well I have read this and know nothing more about why I would want to install this software!
I agree. Even looking at the Microsoft website, all I see is that it is a glorified wsus server... I really can't see recommending this to my boss to push up the line to even consider this product.
Also agree with steved.
Tell me what the product can (or is supposed to) do, what it can't do, or why I would want to bother with it.
Except for a few minor installation tips, there is no relevance to this article.

Agree with Steved... A non-informative article detailing nothing about what this product is "monitoring". My best guess: An MS look-alike of CA Unicenter ?

Mostly I'm getting Error on SCE 2007 is
"RPC Service Unavailable" OR
"In PerfDataSource, could not find counter Process, Working Set, IExplore*" OR Word OR Powerpoint OR Excel etc...
Do you have any Solution for this?
I also want to know once you Approve the particular update how you can confirm that its installed?
