I miss The Computer some days
My board took the name Paranoia BBs themed after the rpg game Paranoia (if only I could find another paper copy, lost mine long ago). The villain of the game was The Computer which controlled the very Orwellian/Logan's Run type "protected community" setting.

The Computer is a completely delusional paranoid off its rocker
I think the most fun was hearing a couple of other geeks in computer class (high school days long ago) talking about this great BBs they?d been dialing into. I let them tell me all about it and why I should check it out for a few days then responded too them over the class Netware message program as The Computer; bwahahaha.. I still laugh at the expressions on there faces.
(Must cut myself off or this reminiscing will go on for pages)
But, the point is that I had some great fun after rewriting the available responses and changing the appearance so it would reply to SysOp talk requests when I was away. Oh what fun.
