I don't think that PC support will die. As more consumers and business users continue to use computers, of course it will involve people that need to fix them. It's analogous to the car industry. We all need cars to get around, but we may either lack mechanic skills or don't have the time to fix them when things go wrong. That's why it's okay to have a bazillion garage shops to fix cars.

As more computer users increase, so will the need for maintenance and repair. I've been supporting PC for over 12 years, and so far, have not seen the end of it...just more of it.
