Why is it that these MS virtual servers stricken people with ram limitations such as 4MB to 400MB max. Did they deliberately under-power this software to rule out the possibility of it's success?

I really have no idea what you're saying here. Virtual Server allows you to assign as much RAM as you want to a Virtual machine. What is this 4-400MB limit you're referring to?

how to restore the virtual server, which files require for the restoration. If the server will crash then what will we do & how to restore it back and which files need.

I have configured virtual server 2005 on win 2003 server, can i suggest about how to backup of server & how to make daily report.
