If you use a lot, you are probably pretty stoked about the possibility of a robust database like DB2 possibly following the open source model.
Still, it seems to me that people in the open source community may not trust Microsoft enough to provide accurate information for a project sponsored by the Redmond based behemoth.

Excuse you me. I don't believe you really mean that. Are you trying to start a flame war with that? Such a blanket statement is sanctimonious at it's worst. It can be argued both ways for each, Open Sourse, as well as Closed. The only true value of any Software is the company behind it. Not all Propriety Based company's are all that reliable either. And I think (...Hope, anyway) most of us here are smarter than that, to acept such a statement. IMHO, anyway. tsk-tsk -d
