I've tried several virtual desktops for XP. I don't remember them all. But at least you have the Microsft's virtual desktop shipped with "tweakuiXP" that integrates and works fine, and the "VirtuaWin" from SourceForge.net. I even found a portable version of the latest, that can be launched from a USB memory stick without prior installation.
