Since we have a few avatars floating around, and not everyone knows where to get them, here is a place to share all of the Avatars that we want to, in Support of Tigs (supporting 3-day Breast Cancer Awareness).

Please take a moment to setup an avatar, and if you have one to share -- Please post it!

A couple of years a large chunk of the top 100 had changed their avatar. Lets try to hit that mark again! Or at least Beat It!!!

We got to 26 - purely because the hot 100 fed from blogs from all over the place. There was no way - THEN that we could have got more....

I added a third animated one that is personalized just for the event.


I opted to edit my AV rather than replace it. ...hope that suffices.

is a nice touch, and keeps it personalized!
I like seeing the edited ones, even if they aint shared.

It works well.
I'll look up your new animated one in a bit (off to another bldg because someone keeps taking apart their computer and calling me to put it back together)

Is the other half of the battle!

I've been running around today so I am seeing this thread for the first time. Thank you so much for creating a single location to direct people to for avatars.

Since the Pink Ribbon Brigade is a real live team of walkers (and a couple of crew) and I can't let Significant One choose his own clothing (the plaid shirt he wore on Day Three last year caused bleeding eyeballs)I decided to make him special t-shirts for the walk. That is where all the changed avatars come in. I will take your avatars and screen names and make a graphic for his shirts- the 2008 Pink Ribbon Brigade. I may even be forced to "borrow" the TR logo. I'll have to turn it pink but that is a minor thing. Don't tell Jason on me!

Current total is $3560 and on the way to the next milestone- $5000! There are 57 days till the event!

Odd situation- I may be pushing my 2006 team captain in a wheelchair through the event. Because of recent significant nerve damage, she is only able to walk with a cane but has done all her fund raising and this will be her 5th walk. We will have a wonderful time decorating her! Over the years, she has averaged over $20,000 a year in fund raising- she has personally raised over $100,000 for the 3 Day. I'm going to make sure that she gets to enjoy the event and spend time on the trails. It's the very least I can do for someone who has done so much. Something to think about- I lost a breast. She's lost a sister and the ability to walk or drive. And she is STILL trying to figure out how she can do the event. That is pretty awesome!

I can't imagine. Just thinking about having to do that wears me out. That's wild!

I plan to push my former captain through the 3 Day. I even have temporary pink ribbon transfers for her chair.

I am gonna fight this ****** disease any way I have to. And I will give women like my old team captain a way to fight too.

This lady is a fighter. So am I. F*ck cancer. I am sick and tired of it winning.

I have a friend in the UK who will understand that. I just need the name...
