Jason - You're Off A Bit.
Many middle class people in the American workforce have paid the taxes and made the sacrifices in war and peace for several generations in order to creat infrastructure for many of these businesses to thrive under the American Eagle.

Now some businesses want special priviliges to go outside the national labor market to tap external human resources (mostly on the cheap, when the talent is already here)

What's worse, foreign students (many from wealthy families in countries with despotic regimes)can land top jobs here with a newly minted degree from a US University. Sometimes this is directly in the place of an American in the unemployment line or one of our vets back from the wars. Ivy Leaguers
go right to the head of the line!
