Annoying!
rkitko@... 12th Sep 2008
Personally, I prefer to hit enter twice after paragraphs of the same type. It's much easier and I obtain more control over the design of the document. Instead, Microsoft Word 2007 has elected to not allow me to change the default setting on this. Any help?

Here are the steps I take:
I open the paragraph options box and select single line spacing and check "Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style". Clicking on "Default...", I was led to believe, would store those preferences. But no! Lo and behold, I click OK and return to the document and what do I get? Space between paragraphs of the same style. Frustrating! Apparently the only way I'm able to use that preference is to check the "Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style" box in every. single. document. And, actually, in multiple spots in the same document, it seems. Why won't this store in the defaults? It's annoying as hell.
