it is not a server operating system its a client operating system so you can not built a server using XP

So if you want to install it on a client machine than the minimum hardware configuration required is (for normal performance)

- P-IV 1.8 GHZ to 3.0 GHZ or newer processor
- RAM 256MB
- Motherboard 845 series or higher
- Hard Disk at least 3GB free for installation
