I agree with what "O & G IT Guy" said,"...free of blindly defending a point of view and so full of logical arguments." This was also a very enlightening article. I'd never looked at software licensing issues this way, and I think that I now agree with you, Chad. Previously, I'd been frustrated with both closed-source and open-source software for many reasons, including those you cited. I've been leaning in the direction of GPL, but your logic in favor of copyfree code is quite a revelation.
