...you know the other person has no facts or legitimate points-of-view to debate with you on when all they do is call you names or try to peg you in a certain category.

It's very sad that most of these folks can name every single one of the contestants on American Idol, but can't tell you who their Senators are. A very sad time indeed.

I had a colleague (many, in fact) say to me one day "oh, I'm not into politics." I said "well, you'd better get into politics because politics is into you whether you know it or not." Those people are the ones I REALLY don't understand.
