You'd be surprised by how much information one can collect with a digital camera. Business cards and other information taped to the back of the notebook announces your information to anyone within eyesight. You could instead tape it under the lid of the laptop so it can still be seen when opened but is not constantly displaying your data to everyone your not paying attention too.

It's your decision after considering how that information can be exploited of course but it's worth thinking about.
