We have an exotic ranch near my house tucked away discretely. Very few visitors and they make most of their $$$ renting exotic animals to movie/tv film crews. Once, a buffalo escaped and someone crashed into it when it wandered into a 55mph zone just after a blind corner. The car was totaled and the female driver actually suffered a few cracked ribs, a broken arm and a concussion. The buff buffalo simply wandered back home, just a few bruises/cuts.

I couldn't imagine calling to work explaining that you need a few weeks off because you were badly hurt when you ran into a water buffalo. Not to mention explaining to the insurance rep that you totalled an f150 on a buffalo.
