Have you resolved this issue? I am having the same problem accessing my network resources while connected to VPN. please let me know.
Thank you.
I can connect using Cisco VPN 5 on Vista from home. I cannot connect from one client to another in Vista but I can connect on my MacBook. Why?
Maybe my problem's in the top twenty...Using Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client on any wireless (haven't been able to try on wired) and I can get to anything on my Company intranet but can't get out to anything external (yahoo, google). It looks as though the client blanks out my default gateway on the wireless connection. Any ideas? Thank you!

In general VPN clients, for security, will block all your traffic to anything other than the corporate network. I don't know if there is a way around this, but this is to prevent your computer from inadvertently providing access to your corporate network to hackers through your computer not having a corporate trusted firewalled internet connection.

I haven't ever looked into how to bypass that, I don't want the liability.

I can still access the internet through my corporate network by using the company proxy. Of course, at that point they are logging my every move. So I'll usually disconnect from the VPN for personal internet use then reconnect when I need the corporate network access.

Needs to have the ASA (or whatever is controlling the endpoint) set to only tunnel the traffic that is set to go to your internal network and not tunnel the rest of your traffic.
I'm searching for this for al long time, but nobody can't seem to provide an answer.

How should I configure my MS Virtual PC 2007 WinXP VM and my host WinXP so I can "share" my host Cisco VPN connection ?

That is,

I want to start my host.
I then want to start my CISCO VPN client on my host.
I then want to start my WinXP VM.
I then want to access company internal and external sites through the host vpn connection both from within my VM as from my host.

What do I have to configure on my VM and/or host, in order to get this setup working ?

Kind regards,
EDH
Reason 403: Unable to contact the security gateway.

This error can also be caused by having another VPN Client installed or running. If you do, you may have to uninstall it or find the background service and stop it before it will connect. happy
I want to add a problem. When trying to install Cisco VPN client I get a window that asks me to uninstall Norton Security. I uninstall Norton and it requires me to reboot. I reboot and double click on the CiscoVPN client installation file. Now the only thing that comes up is to reinstall Norton!!!!!.... I reinstall Norton but the Cisco VPN client never gets installed. What can I do?
i am using dell laptop in wifi...so is there any issue with that??
