People can see that in IT they will always be competing with labour from low-cost countries. So some will tend towards careers that pay better and are less easily outsourced. Simple. The more outsourcing that happens, the less attractive IT careers become. Also, all the entry level jobs are first to be outsourced, and this is where an IT career is built. Where does one get the experience otherwise that employers demand ?
