From 1993 to 1995 I worked for a small PC shop in Southern Minnesota. I did a lot of external service calls and when I got my Newton (which had a fax modem that plugged into the serial port!!) I started putting people's invoices into it, then drawing an X and a line for them to sign on. Then I'd fax the "work ticket" to the office.I was doing digital signatures before UPS even dreamed it was possible!Yeah, I loved my Newton.

Apple didn't quite invent the PDA market, but it certainly made a splash when it introduced the Newton in 1993. We found an original Newton MessagePad H1000 and promptly took it part. You can see it and information on the Newton on Classics Rock:http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/classic-tech/?p=202Did you have a Newton? If so, what did you think about it? Or what was your first PDA?
