RE: 10 classic clueless-user stories
Another 'folder'

While providing support for job hunters I had a lady come in for help with her resume.
I asked if she already had a floppy disk with here resume on it to work on.
She said 'Yes' and pulled a bundle from her purse. Wrapped in tissue was 5.25 floppy folded in half.
I asked her why she folded the disk in half, she said that she had been using a smaller purse and folding was necessary so it would fit and that 'Why else would you call it a flexible disk if you can't fold it'.

Well I managed to remove the disk from the plastic sleeve, get it fairly flat and into the floppy drive with no sleeve. I was amazed that the disk actually read and I was able to copy the data to the hard disk. I had to use tweezers to get the disk out of the drive. I gave her a new disk and advised her not to fold it again.
The lady had 3 PhDs in various sciences, but no common sense at all.
